Aladdin products Citrix ready

Monday, October 27, 2008

Aladdin Knowledge Systems, an information security company specializing in authentication, software DRM and content security, announced that Aladdin eToken and Aladdin SafeWord have been verified as Citrix Ready. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that add value in Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure solutions.

The Citrix Ready program makes it easy for customers to identify complementary products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments. eToken and SafeWord have passed a series of tests established by Citrix and can be trusted to work effectively with thin client solution providers and Access Gateway and XenApp.

The Aladdin products enable two-factor authentication for remote login. Aladdin eToken USB-based smart card generates and stores users’ personal credentials, such as private keys, passwords and digital certificates, inside the encrypted environment of the smart card chip. In order to access applications from outside the organization’s protected network, the user verifies his identity with both a password and the eToken device.

Aladdin SafeWord offers secure One-Time-Password access to Citrix remote applications, requiring no additional software on the client’s workstation. [end]
