Ultimaco announces fingerprint protected data security
Ultimaco, a UK-based data security company, has announced that their data security solution, SafeGuard Enterprise 5.35, will now combine their disk encryption with fingerprint authentication from computer company Lenovo.
This will give users a choice between fingerprint and password access control. The fingerprint sensors themselves are provided by either AuthenTec or UPEK, both fingerprint technology developers.
