AuthenWare signs port operator

AuthenWare, a provider of keystroke biometrics software, announced that Hutchinson Port Holdings Group (HPH) has selected its patent-pending software to handle the security interactions between its customers and U.S. Customs for its Americas operation. HPH is a leading port investor, developer and operator.

HPH Americas is implementing AuthenTest to increase the security of the interactions between its customers and Customs declaration systems. The company has a portal where its customers can declare goods entering or leaving port. Using AuthenTest, Hutchinson Port Holdings will be able to ensure that its customers can transact with the Customs application safely, and without risk sensitive information being lost, stolen or misused. [end] 

Translogik and RFID Chile recently signed a distribution agreement to provide real time monitoring solutions to the South American mining industry.

Under the agreement Translogik’s off the road tire pressure monitoring system will be combined with RFID Chile’s mining applications to provide a real-time OTR tire temperature and pressure management solutions to the South American mining industry.

The AuthenWare security software utilizes unique typing rhythms in conjunction with behavioral and environmental characteristics and a username and password. In addition to being a software solution deployable on individual computers, AuthenWare is touted as having the ability to exist as a Web-based solution.

Authenware announced an agreement with Telefnica, a telecommunications company, to employing Authenware’s security features.

Under the deal, Telefnica’s login portals will be armed with the Authentest software, granting access to valid users by analyzing keystroke patterns and typing behaviors.
