Tuesday, July 7, 2009

M2SYS Technology, a biometric technology research and development firm, announced that it has finalized an agreement with ACS Technologies, a provider of information management solutions to nearly 50,000 churches, schools, and other faith-based organizations.

Through the terms of the agreement, ACS Technologies will be offering Bio-SnapON, a biometric identification system developed by M2SYS, to its customers. Bio-SnapON interfaces M2SYS’ enterprise-ready biometric software with each ACS Technologies application without requiring any code-level development effort.

ACS Technologies customers can retrieve member profile information with a single finger scan on a M2SYS fingerprint reader or finger vein scanner, eliminating the need for passwords, bar codes and PINs. [end]

M2SYS Technology has released a multi-modal biometric software solution called the Hybrid Biometric Platform. The Hybrid Biometric Platform is a client/server system that supports the use of fingerprints, finger veins, palm veins and iris recognition as a form of biometric authentication with the system designed so that customers are not locked into one biometric mode should they decide to change or add new modes in the future.
