Telefnica deploys Authenware keystroke biometrics

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

Authenware announced an agreement with Telefnica, a telecommunications company, to employing Authenware’s security features.

Under the deal, Telefnica’s login portals will be armed with the Authentest software, granting access to valid users by analyzing keystroke patterns and typing behaviors.

With the agreement, Authenware will initially provide its services to Telefnica employees within the Information and Fraud Prevention division. Once Authentest is implemented internally, the keystroke biometric software will then be incorporated into other critical access points. [end]

Authenware, a provider of security software, announced Criterion HPS will resell Authentest, a keystroke biometrics technology, with The Cube, a high-speed, small-footprint computing appliance.

The agreement enables Criterion HPS to augment cyber-protection in their computing appliances by incorporating Authentest’s identity authentication technology into supercomputers. A collection of Criterion HPS devices will be pre-configured with Authenware’s keystroke biometric software in order to supply consumers with a user-ready product.
