Online and Digital Identification, Securing Web 2.0, PKI and Digital Certificates

idOnDemand, ChosenSecurity partner

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

A recent partnership between ChosenSecurity and idOnDemand will combine ChosenSecurity’s digital certificates with idOnDemand’s smart card technology, giving customers a multi-purpose authentication solution enhancing privacy and secure accessibility in enterprises.

The two companies have developed the SmartID. The combination allows for a complete solution for enterprises.

Digital certificates provide applications such as secure email, digital signatures and data encryption capabilities while the idOnDemand smart card consolidate visual, physical and digital authentication into a single identification card. This solution is available at a much lower cost to corporations than the standard multi-function smart card infrastructure due to the company’s “pay-as-you-go” model.

The protection features on the SmartID can be used to protect corporate information, wherever that information may be. The product can be utilized both physically and in an online network setting.

idOnDemand has offices in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. [end]
