VASCO has introduced the DIGIPASS as a Service (DaaS), a play off of Software as a Service, as its newest addition to eSecurity solutions. Unlike the previous model, DaaS will enable multiple businesses and end-users to authenticate online with only one DIGIPASS. The consistently growing online application market prompted VASCO to create an authentication solution that addressed the needs of the user, business and e-commerce applications.
The one-time password application with DaaS allows users to conduct multiple business and personal transactions with only one form of authentication. In addition, lower total cost of ownership, painless distribution and shared back office costs are among the other qualities attracting enterprises to the DaaS solution.
