Tuesday, February 23, 2010

The latest advancement software from Courion Corporation is now available offering customers a product that combines Identity and Access Management with sensitive data management and user activity monitoring. Courion’s Access Assurance Suite solution version 8.0 addresses the businesses challenges in ensuring secure access and management on their data networks.

Effective security in enterprises requires specific knowledge of not only what data resides in the network but also who has accessed it and what it was being used for. Courion’s version 8.0 assists in combining sensitive information from data loss prevention, security information event management and other sources to manage and protect accessibility in the network.

By implementing data loss prevention and security information event management technology in this product it enables organizations to record usage and access on data systems from a more holistic approach and hopefully improve obedience with a wider range of regulations. Companies are also attracted to the low cost of implementing a product that addresses both detection and prevention with one solution.

Other features of version 8.0 include advanced analytics framework, compliance worksheets and automated remediation. [end]
