Todos AB’s new products creates portable authentication

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Todos AB announced its new line of products including the Todos A100, A200 Optic and onCard, said to increase effective online authentication. Upgrades in convenience, security and flexibility are among the most notable changes in the new devices.

The Todos A100 features all the functions of the Todos AB advance card readers but is a mere 3.9 mm thin. The smaller, more compact version of the original is said to be catching the attention of banks worldwide.

Much like the A100, the new onCard has compiled all the one-time password generator technology onto a single smart card, no larger than a standard credit card.

Additionally the Todos A200 Optic is making waves by enabling users to authenticate “sign what you see” transactions. Light sensors in the A200 Optic decode the conformation bar code sent via Web browser from the bank itself, eliminating the common “man in the middle” attacks. [end]
