Software security company, VASCO Data Security Inc. announced a new partnership with Tech Data with plans to expand distribution into Canada.
Tech Data, known for its IT products and logistics management services, will offer its reseller customers access to the VASCO DIGIPASS Pack for Remote Authentication, IDENTIKEY and DIGIPASS product lines.
The expansion is due to Canada’s growing interest and demand for security solutions offering user authentication like for their corporate networks. The demand comes at the same time VASCO is looking to expand its SMB/SME market space in North America. Products like the DIGIPASS series have e-signature capabilities which make it especially attractive to growing businesses with online accounts and applications and are expected to do well in the Canadian business market.
Together VASCO and Tech Data will educate, recruit and facilitate IT resellers interested in expanding their network security solutions offering. Additionally, Tech Data’s Software Business Unit will be making connections with and introduce the VASCO product line to Canadian customers.
