New partnership fosters expansion of Arcot’s A-OK solution in the Japanese market

After several months of planning, a partnership between Arcot Systems Inc. and Japanese IT solutions provider, Sumisho, releases Arcot A-OK On Demand solutions to Japan’s market.

As the second largest IT market in the world, Japan’s Sumisho Computer Systems Corporation (SCS) will deliver sales, marketing support and training to companies looking to acquire A-OK On Demand.


Arcot’s cloud security solution services enterprises in the areas of consumer access, employee access and e-commerce. The solution is hosted in multiple SAS 70-certified, PCI DSS-compliant data centers which have eliminated the need onsite installation. Currently, A-OK offers authentication solutions for SAAS applications such as Google Apps and Salesforce.com. Additionally, as part of their partnership with SCS, SCS will deliver a wide range of IT services, SAAS products and solutions to the Japanese market.

Arcot’s cloud-computing currently support more than 50 million users worldwide, servicing more than 13,000 organizations. [end] 

AOptix Technologies announced that SITA, a specialist in air transport communications and information technology, has joined the AOptix Value Added Reseller program.

Under the partnership, SITA, who has customers in more than 200 countries which includes 300 airport locations, would be able to offer its customers AOptix solutions. These offerings include the InSight iris and face recognition product as an automated solution for airports to quickly and securely identify passengers at security checkpoints with documents such as biometric-enabled passports.
