VASCO introduces DIGIPASS for mobile authentication

Tuesday, April 6, 2010

The latest version of VASCO Data Security’s DIGIPASS authentication solution has hit the market. The DIGIPASS Pack for Remote Authentication now includes a DIGIPASS for Mobile software which enables mobile phones to double as an authentication device.

This service will utilize one-time passwords (OTP) and digital signatures powered by VASCO’s IDENTIKEY authentication server.

The DIGIPASS for Mobile addresses the small businesses need for employees to have access to enterprise networks and applications from remote locations. The two-factor authentication solution combined with the portability of the mobile phone will work to protect a company’s network and data in mission-critical applications

The new solution is designed to expand and grow with the business. The package is available for 5 to 50 users if needed, with the capability to add news users over time. [end]
