Partnership provides authentication for Corillian Online banking

Thursday, May 27, 2010

PhoneFactor Inc. has partnered with the information management and electronic commerce systems provider, Fiserv Inc. This partnership will work to provide phone-based user authentication for financial institutions using Corillian Online banking solution.

The solution will be integrated into Fiserv’s Intelligent Authentication which offers up both passive and active authentication tools.

Services offered to Fiserv customers aim to minimize risk and prevent fraudulent activity along financial institution’s networks and databases. The PhoneFactor solution places an automated call to the online banking user during login. The user simply answers the call and presses # or enters a PIN which completes the login.

PhoneFactor can guarantee that the appropriate user is logging in, as well as verify specific online transactions and protect against man-in-the-middle attacks from malware.

Corillian users will now have available the integrated multi-factor authentication for all their online banking needs. [end]
