Monday, June 28, 2010

Anakam Identity Suite has been chosen as the provider of three-factor authentication for West Corporations Fortune 1000 clients. Anakam will work to enhance the ‘West at Home’ service enabling it to feature a unique selection of authentication functions such as voice biometrics and digital signature.

West at Home is provides home-based customer contact solutions particularly focusing on their Fortune 1000 clients in finding state-of-the-art infrastructure to secure its customer data and achieve a higher level of quality service.

Anakam’s capabilities will add another layer of security to West at Home’s already two-factor authentication solution.

The voice biometric offering from Anakam Identity Suite is probably the most significant of new offerings. Although the Suite does deliver NIST Level 3 authentication with an out-of-band, expiring one-time passcode via phone, email, or voice biometrics.

Distribution of the Anakam product will first set priority on authentication of the virtual private networks (VPN) between the home-based agents and the West at Home platform. Later the deployment will increase to customer and client-facing solutions. [end]
