TriNet extends Entrust relationship

TriNet, a provider of human resources outsourcing solutions, has renewed its relationship with Entrust Certificate Services to use the company’s subscription to Entrust’s Certificate Management Service as well as a pool of SSL certificates.

TriNet uses the Entrust Certificate Management Services to monitor, renew, re-issue and manage Entrust Standard, Advantage and Multi-Domain EV SSL certificates.


TriNet also applies Entrust’s Web-based console to simplify the management of certificates, but also lauds their dedicated account management and technical support teams for being effective first-points-of-contact for any and all support needs.

Complemented by Entrust Discovery, Entrust Certificate Management Service is a centralized, Web-based hub that helps simplify the discovery, purchase, deployment, renewal and expiry of digital certificates for multiple Web servers and users. The self-service application is designed to streamline certificate management while providing secure certificates from a recognized brand in online security. [end]

Entrust Inc. is extending its Entrust IdentityGuard strong authentication platform to offer smart credentials on mobile devices for enterprise-grade security. Taking advantage of near field communication and Bluetooth standards, Entrust embeds biometrics and digital certificates on smart phones to create trusted identity credentials for stronger, more convenient enterprise authentication.

SCHUFA, a German credit reporting agency, has issued more than 1 million grid cards from Entrust for multi-factor authentication to its consumer portal. SCHUFA and its customers rely on the Entrust IdentityGuard authentication platform and Entrust’s grid cards.

Zebra and Checkpoint Systems have entered into a cooperative relationship and licensing agreement. While the exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the relationship does bring together Zebra’s active location solutions with Checkpoint division OATSystems’ passive RFID, auto-ID and sensor capabilities.

Entrust Inc. has made enhancements to its Entrust Discovery digital certificate product by expanding search capabilities for digital certificates residing within Microsoft’s Cryptographic APIs and adding more than 25 basic or custom policy field alerts to ease certificate management.
