IronKey addresses federal cyber security leaders at upcoming security forum

IronKey Founder and Chairman David Jevans will address federal cyber security leaders and their counterparts in the private sector at a Security Innovation Network conference this week.

Jevans will share his experiences on turning a Department of Homeland Security research project into real world products and provide insights on how best to leverage government funding to create successful companies and advances in national cyber security.


Jevans will join executives from the Department of Defense, The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Homeland Security as a featured presenter at the two-day event taking place March 15 - 16, 2011 at Stanford University.

Since its start in 2005, IronKey has acquired a $1.5 million DHS contract to perform research and development on the encryption and security of information and transactions. Gartner Dataquest found IronKey led all other competitors globally in the extreme secure USB flash drive market. Furthermore, in three of the last four years, IronKey received a prestigious People’s Choice award for Best Mobile Security. [end] 

The NFC Forum has appointed TÜV SÜD Product Service to provide its Radio Frequency (RF) Analogue Test Tool Validation Service.

TÜV SÜD, a global provider of product testing and certification, will validate all RF Analogue test tools used as part of the NFC Forum Certification Program for testing the RF Layer of the communications stack to prove conformance to the NFC Forum specifications.
