Intercede latest myID GSA approved

Intercede has announced that its MyID PIV v9, the latest version of its identity and credential management system, has been approved by the U.S. General Service Administration for use by government agencies as part of the FIPS 201 program.

This enables Intercede’s existing and new federal customers to take advantage of a new generation of PIV cards that comply with the latest enhanced cryptographic security requirements defined NIST. Ontercede MyID for PIV v9 also is on the GSA’s Approved Products List to implement the recovery of archived encryption certificates in accordance with the NIST SP800-73-3 specification. [end] 

Intercede has announced the release of Service Pack 1 for its biometric identity and credential management system MyID PIV v9.

The upgrades included in the new service pack are bringing Personal Identification Verification (PIV), PIV-I and PIV-C credential issuance into one system. Additional upgrades in the service pack are aimed at reducing time and costs involved in help desk functions by improving card expiration date control, policy control, offline unlock, self-service PIN reset and reinstating and re-provisioning of cards all from the system GUI.

Codebench Inc. announced that Intercede, a provider of identity and credential management software, has integrated its MyID system with Codebench’s IDSync software development kit to make MyID compatible with more than 25 different physical access control systems. The addition of the IDSync SDK eliminates the need for Intercede to write its own interfaces for a range of physical access control systems.

Key Source International announced GSA approval for it’s biometric keyboard and stand-alone biometric pod. KSI products are approved under FIPS 201 for Federal Employees and civilian contractors.
