Ceelox creates cloud-based solution

Ceelox has announced that it has developed a new solution for biometric-based login to cloud-based applications.

The solution, called Ceelox ID Online, utilizes their own fingerprint authentication in conjunction with OpenID protocol to allow for login to any of the accounts that OpenID services such as Facebook, Yahoo!, Google and many others.

Ceelox officials see the solution as a compliment to the OpenID platform as it was created to help users with too many passwords simplify down to one secured user ID and password for multiple accounts. Ceelox ID Online, however, replaces that one simple user ID and password with a fingerprint so that it can’t be stolen and used for fraudulent purposes. [end]
