VASCO expands CertiID availability

VASCO Data Security International has expanded its CertiID Managed PKI services to be available globally.

VASCO’s recent acquisition of Dutch Internet trust provider DigiNotar provided the leverage needed to expand the CertiID product. As a Certificate Authority, DigiNotar will be able to manage the security process for VASCO’s Managed PKI clients.

VASCO enables companies to outsource multiple kinds of security. It offers strong user authentication through single-use passwords, electronic signatures or PKI. Customers may purchase the PKI digital signatures from VASCO’s Web site or through its channel partners. [end]

VASCO unveils acoustic smart card reader

VASCO Data Security International, Inc. is launching the DIGIPASS 837, an acoustic smart card reader, at this year’s CeBIT expo in Hannover, Germany.

This reader combines the functionality of one-time passwords and electronic signatures to fend off man-in-the-middle attacks on financial organizations using an EMV infrastructure.

TechMag adds VASCO authentication for server protection

VASCO Data Security International Inc. announced that its Brazilian distributor TechMag has decided to secure its server infrastructure with VASCO’s DIGIPASS technology. TechMag has implemented the DIGIPASS GO 3 and DIGIPASS for Mobile 3.0 platforms to its commercial department to provide this authentication.
