Token technology developer working with biometrics

Kenneth Weiss, founder of Universal Secure Registry (USR) and developer of token-based authentication technology, has announced his latest technology will be able to utilize voice recognition and can be used on mobile phones, according to an IT World article.

Weiss sees the new technology, which operates as a three-factor authentication service, as a necessary security offering for cloud technology and financial transactions. A user would be identified by his voice, a PIN and a randomly generated number that would be attributed to him for specific uses upon the initial two-factor authentication.


Weiss is additionally determined to improve upon his past technology as some of the more important data was compromised by hackers who then were able to leverage the data to try and attack Lockheed Martin, who was using USR technology for security.
