UnboundID releases developer toolkit for cloud initiative

Cloud identity management software developer UnboundID released a beta version of its software development toolkit for the Simple Cloud Identity Management (SCIM) initiative.

Launched at this week’s Cloud Identity Summit in Keystone, Colo., the free, downloadable toolkit was developed by UnboundID Labs, UnboundID’s research and development division.

The product enables developers to create efficiencies and extra security in delivering customer and identity data between cloud, mobile and on-premise applications.

Andy Spillane, chief product officer at UnboundID, said that it created this product, leveraging the expertise of other providers and experts in the field, because it believes SCIM has the potential to become the standard used for managing identity between enterprises and the cloud. [end]
