Indigo identityware cited as Citrix Ready

Minneapolis-based Indigo Identityware has received verification from Citrix that its InSafe Strong Sign-on and InSession Strong Workflow Manager and Enterprise Single Sign-on software-only products are Citrix Ready.

The Citrix Ready verification signals a product’s capability to interface with Citrix’s virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions. The Indigo products have been deemed compatible with Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp products and will provide identity authorization for virtual desktop access via Citrix.


Indigo Identityware targets the health care market, providing authentication solutions and identity management products for virtual environments. It can function in environments that require biometrics, proximity cards, PINs and multiple strong authentications. [end] 

DigitalPersona Inc. released a new version of its DigitalPersona Pro Enterprise software that includes facial recognition as a method for authentication.

Facial recognition can now be combined with fingerprint biometrics, passwords, PINs, proximity cards, smart cards and OATH tokens for a multi-factor authentication solution. Policy creation and enforcement works through a client’s existing Active Directory infrastructure.

Key Source International (KSI) has announced the release of a new line of computer keyboards that offer a number of security input options.

Among the various embedded options for securely authenticating one’s identity in the keyboard, called the KSI-1700, are biometrics, RFID, HID and contactless smart cards as well as technology called SonarLocID, which automatically locks a user’s workstation when they walk away.

Indigo Identityware and MorphoTrak have announced a collaboration to provide a biometric authentication product for the health care industry .

Biometric authentication can be problematic in the health care industry due to the industry’s hygiene standards. Fingerprints can be compromised from frequent hand washing and contact with chemicals, which provide challenges to fingerprint authentication.
