SecureAuth launches simplified SAML portal

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

SecureAuth has released the SecureAuth IEP 6.2 version of its identity enforcement platform. With it, customers can quickly configure a portal for simplified and secure access to cloud and web applications, as well as VPN resources.

The IEP SAML Portal-in-a-Box works with internal, remote and mobile users and provides both SSO and versatile authentication. Other features include pre-built pages for portal creation, integration with Active Directory and implementation of SSO between Web and SaaS applications. End-users may enroll, manage accounts and reset passwords on their own.

In terms of authentication, the product bands identities through SAML and other protocols to SaaS applications. It also utilizes two-factor authentication as a security initiative.

Additionally, SecureAuth IEP 6.2 includes enhanced fingerprinting support for the hardware serial number of mobile devices and Windows for unique identification, and integration with Microsoft’s ForeFront Unified Access Gateway SSL VPN and F5’s Big IP Access Policy Manager.

The product is currently available directly through SecureAuth and its authorized resellers. Pricing starts at less than $10 per user per year. [end]

Yubico and SSO Easy have partnered to create a simplified two-factor authentication for single sign-on (SSO).

Designed for users who must implement strong two-factor authentication for access to SAML-based SSO servers, critical applications and sensitive information, this solution utilizes Yubico’s YubiKey driverless USB-token to log in with a one-time password.
