GlobalSign unveils iOS identity certificates

Thursday, December 8, 2011

Digital Certificate provider GlobalSign has launched an identity certificate product designed specifically for authentication of iOS devices.

The iOS Identity Certificates provide authentication services that give enterprises more control over mobile devices that attempt to access corporate business services and networks.

With GlobalSign’s iOS Authentication, network administrators can issue certificates to approved mobile devices. This Enterprise PKI solution uses GlobalSign’s SaaS platform, enabling management of multiple digital certificates and certificate lifecycles. Configuration profiles use the iPhone configuration utility, and enrollment can be done over the air.

iOS Identity Certificate introductory pricing starts at $425 for five users for one year validity certificates. For other volume pricing and validity periods, contact GlobalSign. [end]
