HID Global announced it will showcase new developments in its federal identity compliance initiative and preview its next-generation access control technology platform at next week’s ISC West International Security Conference and Exposition.

The company will also present its share insights into the recent acquisitions of ActivIdentity and LaserCard during its annual strategy briefing on April 6. 

Codebench, Inc., a provider of authentication and physical access control middleware, announced that it has formed a partnership with Quintron Systems Inc. to provide the U.S. government and its agencies with a high-assurance access control solution that meets guidelines as outlined by the National Institutes of Standards and Technology.

As part of this relationship, Codebench’s PIVCheck software suite, a card validation, authentication, and registration solution, will integrate with Quintron’s access control management software, AccessNsite, a physical access control management system. Together, the two companies provide the market with an HSPD-12 compliant access control solution and help organizations maintain TWIC and PIV compliance.  

Intercede announced the release of its MyID Management Agent for Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager. This is the culmination of collaboration with the Microsoft Identity and Access Management technical team.

The combination of Intercede MyID and Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager provides customers with a credentialing solution for enterprise customers. 

Quantum Secure, a provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and events across disparate physical security systems, announced a collaboration effort with the Global Identity Practice within HP Enterprise Services.

HP Enterprise Services has experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide and identity management solutions that can help governments meet their HSPD-12 and FIPS 201-related challenges. 

VASCO announced a build out of the company’s multi-tier channel strategy throughout the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa region. This new channel strategy as an extension of its existing partner program, tailored to the specific needs of its distributors and resellers throughout the region.

VASCO will differentiate its attention for its various partner groups - Partner, Select Partner and Premium Partner - and distributors. VASCO Partners will center their attention and efforts on small businesses and bundled solutions with VASCO’s solution partners, such as Citrix, Cisco, and Checkpoint. Select and Premium partners will mainly focus on medium and large enterprises. 

Leading Software, a UK-based developer of management software solutions, has announced it has selected biometrics developer Voxeo’s cloud to host authentication for the new voice-recognition biometrics system it is developing.

The solutions Leading Software is working towards include biometric-based password reset services and mobile phone transaction authentication.
